I’m quite a fan of the pathfinder series, but getting friends over to play can be tricky sometimes. Then one friend showed me Roll20. The sites great for setting up yer own adventure for any kind of roleplaying or other game you want. Give it a look.
Fed up of spam, Inbox full of subscriptions but yer want them anyway, just in a tidier fashion. Check out Unroll.me
the free and easy way to end unwanted subscriptions and rollup the rest into an organized overview made just for you.
I Also added a landing page for the most up-to-date version and start / restart button.
I’ve noticed that with this new canvas it takes a while to load the first time, but after it quite nice, unlike flash where it has ages to pre cache everything each time you refresh. On the downside the audio support isn’t great. There’s a php script to identify the browser and select the correct audio file. Clearing the canvas to start again was also a mystery, so instead made the button use ajax to load the game form a separate page. Restarting it simply empties the block and loads it in again, creating a blank canvas, may not be the best way of doing it but it seems to work fine.
The hard part now, trying to add a score submission box and a high scores table, and after that, actually try get this game out here a little.

The Long Story
I recently watched the MLP:FIM episode “read it and weep”, and more than anything wanted to make a Daring Do version of temple run. Honestly I had no idea how, so I started researching flash games. Read more …

Been playing a fair few games recently, from new to old. Here’s a few thoughts.
- Halo Reach & COD: Black Ops – Both lots of fun at first, online is where most of the action is at. But … Halo has so much more to give, with forge world and user submitted maps, there’s always something new to dick around with.
- Mass Effect – The hardest game I’ve played in a while, so much so I quit. By hard I mean impossible to drive vehicles, enemies that run into you and allies that are thick as custard. I kept playing and wanted to enjoy this game, but it just got me so frustrated I had to go out for air, a game has never done that to me yet.
- Dragon Warrior III – An older one for gameboy colour, you adventure round, kill monsters, level up and save the world, classic game I used to play in the back-seat of the car, still addictive and challenging now.
